As I am now on uni holidays - I feel like I have been handed a passport to introducing more adventure into my life for the next four weeks. So: challenge accepted.
Todays mission is to FINALLLLYYYY fulfil my craving for an awesome cheese platter, that once ive gobbled down will leave me satisfied for days.. maybe even weeks! I am happy for everyone to assist me in this mission, by taking suggestions on where you guys think the best cheese plate currently resides *** EMAIL: firstname.lastname@example.org****. Otherwise, for the more lazy/working type, you just sit back and wait for tomorrow when the post about my success is posted.
I hear The Commons, in surry hills, have an awesome plate; same with the Imperial Pub in paddington; the Jekyll and the Hyde in darlinghurst are also high contenders.. But what makes a cheese platter so good? whats my criteria, i can hear you all asking? It has to have a few cheese options (one hard, one blue, one soft and brie-ish), a fruit paste (like apple and cinnamon, pear, or quince), it has to have good crackers that dont crack in half the second you put that thin lining of paste on it, some grapes always assist, and some other exciting food item that you don’t expect - like some pickles, or a meat, or olives. Is this too much to ask?
STAY TUUUNNNEEDD…I SHALL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT GOES.
